Reclining Buddha.

Acrylic on Canvas/ Chia seeds/ soil  2023.

"Reclining Buddha" is an exploration and contemplation by the artist on the themes of cyclicity, artificiality, and eternity. The artist attempts to establish the possibility and practicality of building a utopia. In this context, the Buddha statue is not presented as a religious belief, but rather as a symbol of human intellectual development. Plants, as symbols of sustainability and continuity, are forcibly planted on the canvas, growing deliberately like parks in the city. This work embodies the artist's ideas on the relationship between nature and artificiality, and attempts to depict the disharmony and human control within it.
